And yet more Steampunk Art

Apologies to the people I promised to feature their art way eralier than I am doing now. Alas, live is a bit hectic at the moment and I hardly have the time to update the blog as often as I want to.

This entry is brought to you courtesy of the lady Lori Zawada and the gentleman Earl Crawford. Both have contacted me a while ago and submitted their respective work for publication.

I am only too haapy to oblige, since Lori and Earl have both produced quite an excellent piece of art:

Here’s Lori’s Vapore Macchina Insetto:

Very Art Nouveau, I think. A beautiful piece in any case. If you want to know more about it, visit the Æthersite behind the link above.

It is really sad, this splendid Steampunk insect is not actually able to fly. I would so like to see sometthing like it in action. I would also accept CGI in this context.

Now on to the other contribution, Earl’s Chicken Walker:

This is not the most well taken photograph of the series. You can find it here: Gallus Domesticus on Flickr, please seek it out for yourselves, I am not doing all the work here, after all.

And there is more to come from this direction. Following the trail of both Lori and Earl, I have discovered a few more things warranting a line or two on this blog. I hope I can carve out some time…
