Today is Ada Lovelace Day, and it is a celebration of women in science. It is named after the first person ever to write a computer program, as I have mentioned before.
Ada Lovelace is not widely known for her contribution, and still today, women scientists are often marginalized by their male colleagues, as this example illustrates:
